Responsibilities
- Performs procedures, recording, analyzing, and diagnosing various physiological monitoring functions, with the variety of devices, equipment, or techniques.
- Facilitates processes to maintain successful inventory levels and cost-effective practice of supply management by team members, including supportive strategies for cost-containment.
- Demonstrates abilities and competencies in performing procedures, recording, analyzing, and diagnosing various physiological monitoring functions, with the following devices, equipment, or techniques: Modalities may include EEG, Intra Operative Neuro Monitoring (IOM) and data analysis; Other equipment relevant to position.
- Follows Infection Control Guidelines for maintaining cleaning and use of non-disposable equipment.
- Must have a working knowledge of mathematics and science courses (anatomy and physiology).
- Must be able to carry out assigned duties effectively.
- Requires a broad knowledge of principles of electroencephalography.
- Must be able to work with state-of-the-art technology.
- Have good verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications
Job requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year of full-time experience in a Neurodiagnostics Lab.
- Certified in Basic Lifesaver Course (BLS).
Preferred Job Requirements
- Associate degree.
- Applying to or already enrolled in a CAHEEP Neurodiagnostic Program.
- Experience in a healthcare, biotechnology, or biosciences related field.
