The Manager/Dispatch is responsible for managing the staff and daily operations of the Phoenix or Las Vegas Dispatch function. This position reports to the Senior Manager/Dispatch and will be physically located at the Dispatch function opposite of the Senior Manager/Dispatch (i.e., either Las Vegas or Phoenix). The incumbent will assist with ensuring Dispatch emergency response activities are achieved through high levels of customer satisfaction, quality, productivity, and safety standards while ensuring compliance with Company policies, procedures, and all federal/state regulations. This position demonstrates a commitment to excellence through continuous staff development that enhances employee engagement, customer service, innovation, productivity, and morale. POSITION DIMENSIONS Reporting directly to this position are up to four supervisory employees located at the same physical location as the incumbent. The incumbent is not directly responsible for a budget. The incumbent must be able to influence Dispatch employees and operating division personnel. The incumbent also frequently exchanges information with Manager-level employees outside of Dispatch and infrequently exchanges information with senior management and government officials. QUALIFICATIONS There are clear precedents and practices that the incumbent uses as guidelines to determine how this job is performed. This position requires five to eight years of relevant work experience. A bachelor's degree from an accredited university is preferred. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
