Who we are looking for


Purpose

Chiesi USA, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Systems Analyst with a strong background in process management and system administration to join our Business Excellence Operations team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our business systems and ensuring seamless operations to support multiple business units. The position will work a hybrid model out of our Cary, NC office.

Main Responsibilities

  • System Administration: Manage and maintain commercial business systems, including Veeva CRM, Marketing Automation platforms, and Customer Data Platforms (CDP), ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
  • Business Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to support commercial operations leveraging methodologies such as Lean, Lean Six Sigma, or Agile.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Operations, IT, Medical) to identify process gaps and recommend automation or system improvements
  • Data Management: Oversee data integrity, data migration, and data integration processes. Work extensively with Data Lakehouse architectures to store, manage, and analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data with appropriate tools
  • User Support: Provide technical support and training to end-users, addressing system-related issues and inquiries.
  • Project Management: Lead and participate in projects related to system upgrades, implementations, and integrations.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures. Support audits and ad hoc reporting to appropriate personnel.
  • Compliance: Partner with Compliance and IT teams to monitor data security and privacy policies for us to comply with industry regulations and company policies. Ensure appropriate risk management tolerances are followed with business decisions.
  • Monitoring: Proactively determine and develop metrics around the business processes to measure efficiency and effectiveness. These metrics are expected to lead into KPI's for the business

Experience Required

Required Qualifications:



  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business systems analysis and system administration, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in system administration, database management, and business intelligence tools. Experience with Veeva CRM or Veeva Vault CRM, Marketing Automation platforms, Customer Data Platforms (CDP), Data Lakehouse architectures, Qualtrics, and SQL is highly desirable.
  • Analytical Thinking: Breaks down raw information and undefined problems into specific, workable components that in-turn clearly identifies the issues at hand. Makes logical conclusions, anticipates obstacles, and considers different approaches to the decision-making process
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing projects and working in cross-functional teams.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR, etc.)


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with commercial business systems such as CRM and data analytics and visualization platforms.
  • Certification in relevant technologies or methodologies (e.g., CRM, MDM, Data Governance, PMP, ITIL, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, etc.).

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
