What the Ideal Candidate will do:


  • Oversee calibration of measurement and test equipment, ensuring system is maintained.
  • Review and approve/reject new or revised processes for accuracy to meet requirements.
  • Lead the resolution of quality-related issues cross-functionally as well as with customers.
  • Prepare First Article Inspection Reports/Package for customers.
  • Conduct contract reviews and release for all incoming production parts.
  • Review and ensure tests and dimensional inspections are properly performed.
  • Serve as the Prime Designated Quality Representative Certification (DQR).
  • Enforce the quarantine and proper disposition of all Customer Non-Conforming products.
  • Communicate necessary updates with management regarding Quality Operating Procedures (QOPs) and Work Instructions (QWIs).

Physical Requirements:


  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Associate's degree in related field or Manufacturing Technology. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a quality related role with a manufacturing background; orequivalent combination of education/experience. Aerospace environment experience preferred.
  • Experience in ISO9001 standard process.
  • Experience with First Article Inspection.
  • Experience with Production Part Approval Process is a plus.
  • Must read and understand mechanical drawings and ANSI Y14.5 standard.
  • Must be detailed oriented, have good shop math skills,good mechanical aptitude, and strong computer skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, etc. Experience with MRP/ERPpreferred.
  • Must be able to read and write fluently in English.
