Ballard Spahr LLP is seeking an eDiscovery Analyst to join our eDiscovery Services team. Our Analysts provide the highest quality of support in litigation matters supported by the eDiscovery Services team for data management and review to manage client matters. This role involves hands-on technical projects with various software, including Relativity, of varying degrees of complexity, ensuring these projects are completed on time and within the required specifications. This position can be remote if located in one of our offices in the Pacific Northwest. We will also consider candidates in our other locations. The successful candidate will be required to be on-site periodically for training, team meetings, and other occasions, as needed. Why Join Us?
Your Role: As an eDiscovery Analyst within our Litigation department, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Required Skills: Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills. The selected individual will have initiative and ability to take on new responsibilities, work independently or as a member of a project team. Ability to exercise independent judgement, reason logically, make sound decisions, and be able to support the decision to multiple audiences including Manager of eDiscovery Services and legal team. Ability to multitask without loss of efficiency or accuracy and work in a multi-office environment. What We're Looking For:
Required Experience: 3+ years' of highly technical and progressively responsible litigation support or related experience, Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience with Relativity administration is required. RCA certification is a plus. Proficiency with MS Office, ReadySuite, and other litigation support software preferred. Previous experience working in a law firm or legal environment preferred. Must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed. Time worked in excess of 40 hours per week will be paid at time and one half of the hourly rate. The salary range for this position is from $85,000 - $100,000 depending upon experience and location.
