Specifically, you will be responsible for: - Developing, testing, and optimizing polymers to enhance product performance and market competitiveness. - Collaborating with Product Development Chemists/Engineers to drive new polymer innovation projects. - Evaluating and upgrading laboratory equipment and facilities to support advanced research and development. - Staying ahead of industry advancements and integrating the latest polymer science trends into our products. - Generating technical reports and providing analysis of test samples. - Maintaining lab processes while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. You bring: - 5-10 years of experience in polymer science (graduate work included). - A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Chemistry, Polymer Science, or a closely related field. - A strong desire for hands-on research, with experience in small-scale polymer synthesis and pilot plant scale-up. - The ability to analyze and interpret scientific data with precision. - Leadership skills and the ability to collaborate across teams to drive innovation. - Experience using software like Excel, Word, and ERP systems. - A detail-oriented and methodical approach to lab processes.
