- Responsible for the development and implementation of new processes, technologies, prototypes, and components in TRUMPF production units.
- Support general project management, coordination and management of specific assignments while applying Lean manufacturing, SYNCHRO (internal process improvement system), and Quality Management Tools.
- Assist in the implementation of Strategic Production Planning, Product Transfers, Plan Layout, Inventory Management, Continuous Process Improvement and Lean Manufacturing following SYNCHRO principles.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement through data analysis, observation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams; work closely with production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to drive continuous improvement efforts and resolve manufacturing challenges.
- Establish processes for ongoing monitoring of key performance indicators (KPI) to measure the effectiveness of process improvement initiatives and foster a culture of transparency by regularly sharing KPI results with relevant stakeholders and facilitating discussions around performance trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Develop project plans while incorporating both short- and long-term strategies, coordinate project team activities, communicate changes and progress to team members, maintain data and report to track progress, monitor work to ensure quality, display commitment to excellence, meet productivity standards, and complete projects on-time and within budget.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation via data and reports to track project progress, perform risk analyses, and monitor work to ensure quality; prepare detailed documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Support SYNCHRO activities and improve product flow by implementing standardized procedures and structures including value stream mapping of process flow, 5S, and Kaizen events through different department areas.
- Handle multiple projects involving process improvement, investment, and cost savings.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. One university course or six months of experience or training in the following (may be concurrent with degree): Project management; Lean manufacturing processes; Supply chain management; ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, or comparable; Material management and inventory control. #LI-DNI TRUMPF is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
