Description
Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day-to-day work routine for self and others. Safely performs all duties required to manage and maintain accurate inventory records, conducts regular inventory audits and ensures optimal inventory levels to meet business demands. Controls inventory to fulfill scheduled operations and distribution needs or the organization. Analyzes inventory stock, requests, and shipments for inventory control and resolves discrepancies. Maintains procurement supply and logistic operations, and warehouse facility and inventories.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS |
- High school degree or equivalency.
- Two years' experience in inventory control, warehousing, or applicable material management.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS |
- Able to operate material handling equipment such as a skid steer, forklift, telehandler and/or crane at a proficient level.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Previous inventory management experience
- Proficient in the use of inventory software.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS |
- Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs, and data from cyber-attack, damage, or unauthorized access.
- Required to possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Subject to the Company's DOT Substance Abuse Testing Program.
- Must pass all requirements to become DOT operator qualified in assigned tasks.
Pass required tests for Operator Qualification tasks at assigned location.
Possess or acquire valid, skid steer and telehandler certifications as required for this position within 6 months.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Follows safety rules and helps ensure safe working conditions and equipment.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality. Ensure all materials meet material specifications and ensure request delivery dates are met.
- Maintain material inventory levels necessary to assist in projects, operations, and maintenance of warehouse facility.
- Complete all documents associated with requisition, receipt and control of inventory and non-inventory materials. Responsible for inventory control and audits.
- Analyze quotes and specifications. Resolve discrepancies between quote and invoice prices and/or quantity variances on orders with vendors.
- Performs line patrol duties as needed.
- Provides support and assists with line locate requests for assigned area as needed. Ensures all line locate requests are properly responded to and/or marked in accordance with company standards and state laws.
- Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
