CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our Commercial & Institutional - Fire Protection Services Team at our Cullman, AL or Birmingham, AL office or working remotely.

CHA offers highly specialized fire protection engineering services and cutting-edge solutions to address the most challenging fire risks. Our approach involves adapting strategies and solutions to meet the ever-changing demands of buildings and the environment, while promoting safety and efficiency.

The Fire Sprinkler Designer assists with the research, preparation, and creation of various types of contract or construction drawings and documents. This individual will collaborate with design teams on multiple projects in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet client, contractual and company expectations. The Fire Sprinkler Designer will handle small to medium design projects and work closely with sales and project management teams during the design phase.

High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of fire protection design experience
• Proficient with discipline-based design software (AutoCAD, Revit, HydraCAD) as well as Microsoft Office
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences.
• Strong work ethic and desire to work in a collaborative team environment with the willingness to assist senior staff.
• Some occasional travel (10-15%) may be required
• Valid drivers' license required
• NICET Level I Certification preferred

$29.80 - $36.05

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
