POSITION

As Global Head of Client Reporting you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the institutional client reporting function. In this role you will be expected to leverage your significant experience with equity and fixed income data analytics and reporting, work with stakeholders and align on opportunities for change and improvement, develop strategy and oversee its execution. A successful candidate will also be experienced in translating industry trends in reporting into leading practices at Allspring. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills that inspire, motivate and empower team members to drive significant positive change.

We currently operate in a hybrid working model, whereby you will be required to work in-office 3 days a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Oversee and lead the global client reporting team with vision and intentionality, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of reports to clients.
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies, best practices and or data sources to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and outcomes.
  • Monitor and measure the progress and impact of transformation initiatives, providing regular updates and reports to stakeholders
  • Build a strong team with a focus on execution and continuous improvement delivering a sustainable operating model and a best-in-class client experience.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members and promote professional development.
  • Own all vended relationships related to client reporting to manage delivery and cost effectiveness.
  • Lead a global Client Reporting team responsible for preparing and delivering advanced economic and financial reports across diverse client portfolios and asset classes.
  • Provide comprehensive training and development opportunities for the client reporting team to enhance their proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and client communication.
  • Incorporate business continuity planning into the Client Reporting strategy, ensuring readiness for unexpected disruptions and seamless continuity of service including mitigating key person risk.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement within the client reporting team, fostering innovation, creativity, and proactive problem-solving to drive ongoing enhancements to processes and deliverables.
  • Manage various projects, including automation/standardization initiatives and the evolution of standard and customized reporting protocols.
  • Champion firmwide initiatives to establish and govern best practices around report format and content, standardization, consistency, timeliness and quality across clients.
  • Develop KPI reporting and metrics to provide transparent insights to leadership, enabling informed decision-making and performance evaluation.
  • Challenge the status quo by identifying inefficiencies and implementing strategic changes to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of client reporting processes.
  • Assess and mitigate operational and data risks within the department by implementing effective policies, procedures, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, systems, processes, and procedures to identify inefficiencies, operational risks, and recommend improvements.
  • Analyze client, market, and fund data flows to enhance service delivery and client reporting.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Technology teams and Market Data teams to develop and integrate technology solutions to enhance data and reporting functions.
  • Work closely with internal departments, including Investment Teams and Risk & Compliance, to refine the Operations model based on evolving data and reporting needs.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with vendors to ensure optimal outcomes for the firm in a scalable and cost-effective manner.
  • Coordinate and contribute to the definition and implementation of best-in-class client reporting solutions, using client feedback and industry benchmarking input.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • 15+ years of experience in the financial services industry with an asset manager, focusing on leading and managing transformation strategy and initiatives in the area(s) of client reporting, and or servicing.
  • Proven managerial and leadership skills, with the ability to empower a global operations team in a complex environment.
  • Subject matter expertise across different analytic and reporting tools (e.g., FactSet Vermillion, Clearwater Analytics and Bloomberg)
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, and achieving alignment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence partners effectively.
  • Experience with enterprise-level initiatives, budgeting and complex problem-solving.
  • Strategic thinker with a comprehensive grasp of the organization's goals, who actively seeks to challenge conventional methods when driving strategic improvements.
  • Appreciation for high quality comprehensive internal communication.
  • Familiarity with institutional client servicing across different industry sectors and geographic locations.
  • Familiarity with investment strategies, products, and asset classes.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (MBA, CFA, CAIA) preferred.
