GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sr. Director, Managed Vision Care Plans leads the strategy, communication, measurement, and execution of Managed Vision Care partnerships and owns the evaluation of new opportunities and challenges. This individual standardizes performance monitoring, identifies improvements and drives strategic initiative designs and implementations. This role is responsible for $650 million revenue annually across all Managed Care Plans and leads a team of nine across MVC Account Managers and MVC Sales Operations.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Drive lab operations business partnerships with Managed Vision Care Plans.
  • Present and negotiate with Executive Leaders (internally and externally).
  • Undertake in-depth analyses to support evaluation of opportunities and business models; analyze and evaluate key strategic issues relating to projects and growth initiatives and develop recommendations for future action.
  • P&L management responsibility.
  • Develop and build strategic partnerships to support and enhance prioritized business opportunities.
  • Strategic project coordination across Managed Vision Care and key partners.
  • Identify opportunities for improving business practices for efficiency and revenue generation.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships and partner with stakeholders from across the organization, including sales, marketing, operations and finance.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field.
  • 12+ years' experience in developing and leading commercial business initiatives.
  • Optical or healthcare industry experience.
  • Experienced contract negotiator.
  • Demonstrated success in problem solving, collaboration and communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify/address problems and meet deadlines.
  • Able to define an effective process, work flow, and systems design; capable of developing measurable metrics to track progress
  • Strong communication skills:


    • Writes and presents effectively;
    • Strong ability to adapt delivery and style to fit the audience and message;
    • Able to deliver messages that are well received and clearly understood



  • Experience leading a team.
  • Ability to travel at least 15% of the time


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Managed Care experience.

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
