$74,900-159,000 Application Window Open date: February 20, 2025 Next review date: Monday, Mar 17, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Saturday, Mar 22, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Department of Psychiatry is seeking to hire two or three full time junior level faculty in the Division of Adult Psychiatry in the Health Sciences series. Candidates must be committed to clinical work and teaching in the area of hospital psychiatry, especially Consultation-Liaison and Emergency Department Psychiatry. Requirements include the completion of a residency in Adult psychiatry. Completion of a Fellowship in Consultation Psychiatry is preferred (particularly relevant for CL positions). The position will consist primarily of clinical work and substantial liaison work with both staff and faculty of the UCLA hospitals. Teaching and attending in a teaching clinic is a mandatory part of this position. These positions are expected to include outpatient clinical care opportunities and requirements. The successful candidate must meet the following qualifications by time of hire: Must hold an M.D., D.O., equivalent medical degree and be board eligible or certified in Psychiatry; Must possess a valid California Medical License and Drug Enforcement Agency certificate. Candidates are encouraged to complete a CL Fellowship and be board-certified or board-eligible for CL Psychiatry by the time of hiring (particularly relevant for CL positions). The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment.
