Description

The Senior QA Automation Engineer will develop and maintain automated test frameworks to ensure product reliability, accuracy, and performance. This role integrates testing into the development lifecycle, supporting continuous delivery while embedding trust and data integrity. Collaboration with engineering, product, and DevOps teams is key to building robust validation processes that enhance confidence in our systems.   • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, Cucumber, TestNG, and Allure within a Java-based framework.
  • Design and execute test strategies for UI, API, functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
  • Validate and automate REST API testing using Postman.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for continuous testing.
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.
  • Enhance test reporting with Allure to improve visibility into test execution results.
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to embed quality into the development process.
  • Conduct performance and security testing to identify system vulnerabilities and bottlenecks.
  • Contribute to test strategy, process improvements, and best practices for better test coverage and efficiency.
  • Perform SQL testing by writing and executing complex queries to validate data integrity and backend processes.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in test automation, specializing in Java-based automation frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, TestNG, and Allure for automated testing.
  • Expertise in REST API testing using Postman and related automation tools.
  • Experience working in CI/CD environments, integrating tests with GitHub Actions or similar pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, test design, and defect tracking.
  • Experience with performance and security testing methodologies and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in Agile teams.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git, including branching strategies and pull request workflows.
  • Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
  • Familiarity with BDD/TDD methodologies.
  • Experience with performance testing tools, such as JMeter.
  • Experience working with JIRA Boards for tracking test progress, managing test cases, and collaborating in Agile workflows.



Working Conditions



  • This position requires the incumbent to work indoors at a desk for extended periods of time and use of workstation.
  • The person must be able to comprehend and follow work instructions in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • This position may be requested to work overtime on occasion to meet company objectives
