Job Description

Essential Functions

As a curious, accountable and data-driven Product Manager (Technical), you'll join the Core team to drive merchant integrations and optimize transaction processing across several different card brands from all across the world.

More specifically, you can expect to work on technical product(s) and be responsible for defining requirements anddeliveringvalueto customers. As a member of the Global Product team, the Product Manager will interact with business stakeholders to inform strategy on key initiatives and collaborate closely with the Technology organization to implement a delivery plan for features & functionality.

You will support the Lead, Product Management and assume ownership of solution architecture design and API specifications to ensure that the solution is extensible and can scale to support multiple regions globally. Daily activities will range from requirement gathering, research and planning, communicating with stakeholders, writing user stories, interacting with design and development teams, and participating in development of colleagues.

This is an individual contributor role focuses on agile methodology, collaborating cross-functionally with both internal and external stakeholders.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Experience - you possess 5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager working cross-functionally with hundreds of engineers building multi-quarter roadmaps and shipping products to achieve it. Experience in payments - highly preferred
  • Communication - you possess excellent written and verbal communication skills interfacing with both technical and non-technical global audiences.
  • Technical depth - you like system design thinking, are not afraid to get your hands dirty working with data and SQL, and can effectively collaborate with senior technical leaders across the company.
  • Metrics and impact-driven - you have a keen sense of translating customer needs into product solutions that create value and drive business outcomes.
  • Self-starter - you are autonomous and proactive thinking around the corner driving work to completion in the face of ambiguity.
  • Team Player - you love and seek to collaborate and share your expertise with individuals of diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences through documentation, mentorship, and both written and vocal discussion.
  • Technology - you are familiar with Systems Architecture, Payment Processing Systems, Microservices, Databases, Software Security, Authentication & Authorization, Anti Fraud & Abuse, and Big Data.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 110,800.00 to 140,550.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
