Job Summary
We are recruiting up to two research assistants to support the Jiang Lab in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Texas at Dallas. The research in the Jiang Lab focuses on the design of novel macromolecules (such as proteins/antibodies and synthetic polymers) to explore their biomedical applications.
Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in one of the basic sciences or an equivalent combination of education and experience in customer service or in daily interactions in a public services environment.

Preferred Education and Experience
Master's degree or a Bachelor's Degree with three or more years of research experience with a background in molecular biology, organic synthesis, biochemistry, biochemical or cell-based assay development, cell biology, or bioengineering.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Addresses fundamental questions relevant to Jiang Lab's ongoing projects, including but not limited to, assistance in performing studies with postdoctoral research associates and graduate students in the Jiang Lab.
  • Lab management-related duties, including but not limited to, lab supply management, lab safety compliance, facility inspections, lab database construction and maintenance, and lab protocol submission.
  • Other duties as assigned.
