Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related specialized area or field or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

By effectively collaborating with other members of the EMSS Service Center, the Senior Tech Operations Specialist will provide monitoring and statusing of EMSS services and systems, to include telephony switching equipment, radio equipment and data communications equipment. This will entail in depth knowledge of EMSS network communications and the ability to make process improvements for performance and reliability. What you bring to the table:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related specialized area or field or equivalent plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree
  • Extensive knowledge of communications systems and network operations
  • Solid knowledge in the technical application of network management systems and corresponding tools such as Linux and Windows OS and REMEDY (or equivalent) based trouble reporting and tracking

Target salary range: USD $80,024.00/Yr. - USD $86,589.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
