The Admin and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the Operations team and site management, ensuring smooth administrative operations and maintaining a safe, healthy work environment. This dynamic position bridges administrative efficiency with HSE compliance, contributing to the overall success and well-being of our organization. Please note: This position cannot support visa sponsorship now or in the future and is 100% onsite in Nampa, ID. Accountabilities: HSE:
- Assure compliance with all company, local, state and federal regulatory requirements related to administration, HSE and payroll.
- Responsible for administering a safety and environmental progam that supports Syngenta's HSE policies, including safety meetings, safety investigations and coordinating safety trainings.
- Lead the Goal Zero initiative to ensure all employees are able to recognize and report risks/hazards at the work place through the submission of safety observations.
- Set up and maintain HSE records as required by state and federal regulations.
- Schedule and supervise health and environmental testing and perform risk analysis, including the creation and review of work permits, job safety analysis (JSA), management of change (MOC), standard operating procedures (SOP), task cards, etc.
- Effectively on-board new employees, providing new employee orientation and maintaining employee records.
- Ensure all facility operating documents and permits are current and renewed on time.
- Record and analyze key metrics to support site management in business decision making processes and continuous improvement (managers meeting, site maturity model, community in action, etc).
- Monitor the status of safety observations to ensure all action plans are closed in a timely manner.
- Effectively communicating on a daily base with peers and supervisor regarding the status of projects and work activities.
ADMIN:
- Coordinate day to day accounts payable process into SAP, ensuring timely invoice submittal and payments to vendors.
- Be directly responsible for all purchase order creations tied to CAPEX projects and third-party associate contracts.
- Responsible to register new vendors in the procurement system.
- Supervise office services (mail, shipping logs, office equipment, supplies, etc) and records retention program to meet internal and external regulatory requirements.
- Daily general site support (deliveries, meetings, celebrations, etc).

Qualifications Required:
- Effectively balance the dual responsibility of Admin and HSE demands.
- Availability to work extra hours as needed.
- B.S. degree in business or related field preferred. Candidates with relevant comparable experience may be considered.
- Proven strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
- Data analysis skills to effectively evaluate, interpret, and leverage key performance indicators (KPIs) for strategic decision-making and performance improvement.
- Excellent communication skills. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
- Accredited safety certification(s) required.
- Demonstrate ability to organize and coordinate multiple tasks, plan small-scale initiatives, break down goals into manageable steps, track progress, and prioritize effectively to ensure timely completion of responsibilities.
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office, SharePoint, Smartsheet, etc).
Preferred:
- SAP experience desired.
- Technical understanding of safety and environmental processes in an agricultural setting is a plus.
- Working knowledge of accounting principles is strongly preferred.
