Overview

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will provide vital administrative support while ensuring the efficient execution of procurement and supply chain activities. You will be an essential part of the team, supporting a range of tasks, including material procurement, status updates to Bill of Materials (BOMs), and invoicing. You will also play a key role in maintaining customer data and managing various operational reports.

Salary: $25- $35/hr DOE



Responsibilities

    Assist in the procurement of project materials, including raw materials such as piping, tubing, welding supplies, and calibrations.
  • Generate and track purchase orders and provide updates on BOM status.
  • Process invoices and assist with month-end reporting activities.
  • Manage customer service needs, maintain customer data, and update relevant systems.
  • Assist in inventory management, including stock tracking and reporting.
  • Provide general clerical duties, including filing, data maintenance, and handling administrative tasks as needed.
  • Coordinate internal and external transactions related to the laboratory's operations.
  • Assist department managers and supervisors with day-to-day operational needs and support cross-departmental functions.
  • Assist in coordinating training sessions for staff and help manage leave schedules to ensure operational continuity.
  • Handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Assist with project management tasks, including organizing meetings, preparing presentations, and creating business reports.
  • Maintain and oversee all export activities for the local Export Compliance Program


Skills / Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of prior experience in an administrative or supply chain support role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • ITAR facility experience
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to track and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in procurement and material management is preferred, especially in industries such as aerospace.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with managing travel and meeting logistics.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and ordering systems.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in ordering raw materials such as piping, tube, welding, and calibrations
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment is desirable.
