Your Role With Us:

As a Security Systems Clerk at Salem Health, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our security infrastructure. You'll conduct routine inspections of security devices, document findings, and generate tasks for technicians to ensure seamless operations. Keeping accurate records is essential, as you'll track inspections, findings, and resolutions in databases like Excel, TMS (Accurant). Collaboration is key-you'll work closely with Security Systems Technicians and supervisors to prioritize and address issues efficiently. In critical moments, your keen attention to detail will support emergency response efforts by identifying and reporting system failures that could impact safety and operations. Your contributions will help keep our security systems running smoothly and effectively.

  • System Inspections: Regularly check security devices (duress devices, emergency call boxes, doors, and radios), document findings, and assign tasks to technicians as needed.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Keep detailed records of inspections, including dates, findings, and resolutions. Enter data into tracking systems like Excel, TMS, (Accurant).
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with Security Systems Technicians to prioritize and resolve issues, ensuring clear and effective team communication.
  • Emergency Response: Assist in identifying and reporting security system failures that may impact safety and operations.

Your Background and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Familiarity with security systems or similar technologies preferred.
  • Experience with inspection processes or task management systems is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to learn and utilize task management systems (e.g., TMS/Accurant).
  • Ability to walk and stand for 95% of the workday.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and in various environmental conditions
