Who We Are Looking For: The Marketing Communications Manager, reporting to the Sr. Marketing Communications Manager, will be based out of our Pittsburgh office located in Moon Township, PA. This individual will be a key contributor on the corporate marketing team and work with assigned business units to develop and execute marketing communication programs that support strategic marketing initiatives. Key aspects of this multifaceted role include critical interpretation of business needs into marketing plans, project management, creative thinking, problem solving, vendor management, collateral creation, and new product commercialization. This position works closely with key stakeholders, suppliers, and customers which requires strong relationship building and negotiation capabilities. A proven ability to balance wide bandwidth and project depth is required. What You'll Do:
- Drive customer-centric marketing by leveraging Voice of Customer (VOC) insights to develop and implement innovative marketing strategies that align with business objectives and global strategy.
- Develop strategic marketing plans that integrate market needs, competitive insights, and customer feedback into actionable marketing plans, addressing key pain points and opportunities.
- Lead content development by building and executing message mapping, content strategies, and commercialization plans for products and solutions, ensuring consistency across channels.
- Partner closely with the sales teams to ensure marketing initiatives support lead generation, sales acceleration, and cross/up-sell opportunities, driving measurable revenue impact.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and launch impactful marketing programs, fostering alignment between product management, sales, and marketing.
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs and trends, ensuring campaigns are data-driven and ROI-focused.
- Design and manage high-impact, integrated campaigns that resonate with target personas, focusing on compelling storytelling and clear product positioning.
- Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, using data to refine strategies and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage social media content and other marketing assets to maintain brand alignment and consistency across all platforms.
- Proactively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective project management, negotiations, and contract development.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or other relevant discipline required.
- 5+ years' experience in product marketing including the development and execution of marketing strategies, programs, and collateral that support business unit and corporate marketing objectives.
- Proficient and functional knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience developing visually appealing and comprehensible customer presentations via PowerPoint utilizing text, charts, graphics, embedded videos, and animations.
- Comfortable developing experience and journey maps in order to better understand your customers' needs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused approach, detail-oriented, inquisitive, creative, and efficient.
- Ability and willingness to interact with stakeholders across the entire organization at all levels.
- Proven ability to influence and align teams around shared business outcomes.
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and prioritize multiple projects.
Within 3 Months, You'll:
- Complete your new hire "Immersion" so that you are prepared in your new role and have embraced Atkore's values, culture, and business system.
- Be fully engaged with your team and building relationships with key stakeholders.
- Understand your respective internal businesses and develop marketing roadmaps to support the businesses' strategies and annual goals.
Within 6 Months, You'll:
- Be able to establish marketing strategies, supporting programs and campaigns, and valuable content to support your respective businesses.
- Be a key contributor on the corporate marketing team, utilizing your knowledge and experience to provide new ideas, challenge norms, and collaborate across the global team.
- Be able to identify and utilize the appropriate resources to create or improve upon internal business processes.
Within 12 Months, You'll:
- Be established as a marketing leader and advisor with your key stakeholders, partners, and customers.
- Understand commercial challenges, develop marketing strategies to address such challenges and business needs, and create compelling marketing content.
- Be able to influence key stakeholders to adopt new strategies in order to better serve the businesses' goals.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $96,960 - $133,320. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
