Job Summary

Working as a Senior Catering Director for the Company will allow you the opportunity to work with GREAT people like yourself! You will be responsible for managing the catering department, overseeing all internal and external catering for the account, managing client relationships, along with ensuring that the food and service at the functions is of superior quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a catering sales team of four or more to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Develop sales strategies and provide guidance on best practices for client acquisition, upselling, and retention.
  • Set clear goals and monitor performance to ensure alignment with company objectives.

Business Development & Client Relations

  • Drive new business into Garces' onsite venues and offsite catering locations through strategic prospecting and networking.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, wedding coordinators, and other key stakeholders.
  • Partner with the VP of Garces Events to develop innovative sales strategies and long-term business growth plans.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring that all client interactions reflect the quality and excellenceof Garces Events.

CRM & Pricing Management

  • Oversee and manage the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring accurate tracking of leads, client interactions, and sales progress.
  • Work closely with the operations team to regularly update pricing structures, menu offerings, and contract terms within the CRM and other relevant systems.
  • Analyze sales data and generate reports to inform strategic decision-making.

Sales Planning & Budget Management

  • Develop and execute a detailed sales plan to meet and exceedannual revenue goals.
  • Monitor and assess sales performance, making data-driven adjustments to strategy as needed.
  • Personally be responsible for 1,000,000 in food & beverage revenue
  • Work closely with the VP to ensure sales strategies align with overallbudgetary goals and profitability objectives.

Networking & Community Engagement

  • Attend weekly networking events to promote Garces Events and expand the client base.
  • Build partnerships with local businesses, tourism boards, and industry professionals to increase brand exposure.
  • Represent Garces Events at open houses, corporate gatherings, and other key industry events.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 5+ years of catering sales experience with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue goals.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience managing a sales team in the catering, hospitality, or events industry.
  • Strong business development and networking skills with existing industry relationships preferred.
  • Expertise in CRM systems, data tracking, and sales pipeline management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with a passion for hospitality.
  • Availability for evening and weekend networking events and client meetings as needed.
