Palisades Customer Solutions Manager, Engineering

As a Customer Solutions Manager, you will Expand America's Engineered Solutions market share supporting Palisades refurbishment and startup activities primarily in the Engineered Solutions technical area (NSSS Engineering and BOP Engineering) via co-location at Palisades Nuclear Power Plant and direct interaction and collaboration with Palisades staff.You will be a Technical Integrator between OPS-ES and Palisades to create a teaming relationship with Palisades principals to understand customer needs, overtly identified and unidentified, and work with technical area CSMs to identify solutions and develop differentiated proposals.As the Technical Integrator, you will coordinate the internal strategy alignment between the Palisades direction and the Engineering leadership teams including CSMs, technical leads, product management and project managers to respond to queries and ensure appropriate attention to startup needs and project execution.

You will report to the Sr. Director of NSSS Engineering and be located at Palisades Nuclear Power Plant in Covert, MI.

  Develop/leverage important face-to-face customer relationships to facilitate understanding of customer needs, both overtly identified and unknown/unidentified.

    Work with Westinghouse business segment teammates to create proposals with value propositions to meet customer needs and secure OE. Specifically, support offer team for technical clarification, product pricing strategy and Westinghouse value proposition with the customer.

    Accountable for Engineered Solutions OE and opportunity pipeline growth for Palisades (Holtec) customer includes directly working with customers and ensuring coordination with other front-line teams.

  Assess Palisades startup activities, including competitor positions.Use insights as part of business development function.

  Good understanding of Engineered Solutions products & services, and how they can be uniquely modified to meet Palisades startup needs.

  Engage on emergent customer issues, leading team as needed until project management is available and engaged, ultimately working with the collective team to develop technical and commercial solutions. Collaborate with project teams to understand status of projects, supporting resolution of challenges during project execution.

  Develop relationships with internal stakeholders, such as GES resource managers, to ensure people, processes and technology are available to deliver offer commitments and enable market growth.

  10+ years relevant leadership experience in product management, product engineering, product sales, customer interactions, business or operation with increasing progression and complexity and levels. Equivalent leadership experience in commercial nuclear with plant operational or startup experience will be considered.

  Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent

  Requires knowledge of Engineered Solutions portfolio of products/services (solutions) as well as Westinghouse OPS organization.

  Knowledge of Nuclear Power Plant design, market and customers.
