Perform tapeout tasks on simple circuits through complex testchips. Functionally capable of performing all aspects of tapeout. Capable of performing mask data processing, Assist with customer service for all customers. Perform maintenance on K2 infrastructure. Familiarity with Calibre DRC for layout processing and data preparation.

• Assignment Complexity - Work assignments are routine in nature but require technical understanding of design and tapeout processes.
• Accountability/Discretion - Will perform tasks with engineering supervision.
• Financial Responsibilities - Assignments have direct financial impact on the business performance. Erroneous decisions will cause significant delays and cost.
• Technical Expertise - Knowledge of scientific concepts and expertise in one or more technical areas will enable more complex assignments involving some analysis and decision making.
• Working Relationships - Regularly works with other similarly classified employees within the company and supports MaskCAD as well as the engineering teams. Communicates regularly with internal and external customers.
• Supervision - Does not have management responsibilities. Handles routine tasks with minimal supervision.
• Working Conditions - Normal office conditions

• Provide tapeout support for all production parts from Tower customers.
• Use Mentor, Synopsys and Cadence tools in a UNIX environment to process customer data for mask generation and verification that mask data processing is correct (FI). Tapeout of mask data for manufacturing.
• Execute XOR of data between revisions to ensure data integrity.
• Perform DRC and Density checks on customer data.
• Run data through appropriate OPC programs, when required.
• Create and verify Boolean derived layers program and K2 infrastructure to support new process variants.
• Maintain all Mask Requirement Specifications in Intelex.
• Assist in maintaining K2 infrastructure.
• Feedback of wafer and mask information to internal and external customers.

• Use of multi-disciplinary approaches to problem solving and knowledge of several processes or technologies important to the company,
• STEM related Bachelor's degree with a minimum of four years related experience. Unix experience.
• Familiarity with Synopsys CATS, Mentor Calibre or Cadence Virtuoso, K2 software a plus.
• Wafer fab engineering experience/knowledge is a plus

Compensation:

$120,000 - $170,000
