QA Engineer 3

At Juniper's AIDE (AI Driven Enterprise), we are looking for a highly motivated QA Engineer for our Mist Edge (https://www.juniper.net/us/en/products/access-points/edge.html) product line. The Engineer will work on verification of various features on Mist Edge and also assist Customer Success Team with any field reported issue. The is an onsite position and requires commute to Cupertino, CA office 5 days a week.

Responsibilities -

• Demonstrate ability to work independently and to function in a team environment.
• Build testbeds using Mist Edge and other networking devices and servers.
• QA validation of Mist proprietary features on Mist Edge.
• End to end validation of client to cloud architecture.
• Recreate customer issues in lab and work closely with Engineering Teams to drive resolution.
• Work closely with Customer Success team to review the customer reported defects and enhance the test coverage.
• Create bugs in Jira and track them closely with Engineering team.
• Timely escalation of critical issues.
• Create Technical documentation for CS and QA teams in Confluence.
• Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects and work calmly under pressure.

Minimum Qualifications -

• 5+ years of related experience
• BE/ME/MS in EE, CS or related discipline.
• Basic concepts of routing and switching (including Trunk/Native VLAN, DHCP, DNS, NAT, ARP, LACP)
• Hands on experience in validating IEEE802.1x feature using Freeradius or any standard RADIUS server.
• Hands on experience in configuring and troubleshooting issues related to L2TPV3/IPSec.
• Scripting in Python.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently and to function in a team environment.
• Ability to communicate project status and identify risk.
• Hands on experience on basic Linux troubleshooting.

Preferred qualifications -

• Basic knowledge of DPDK.
• Basic understanding of 802.11 protocols.
• Prior experience on Cisco ISE/Aruba CPPM.

Minimum Salary: $120,000.00

Maximum Salary:$172,500.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $120,000.00 and $172,500.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper's pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
