Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental & Safety Site Assessment Specialist to perform comprehensive environmental and safety site assessments, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and minimizing safety risks. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pollution prevention, hazardous materials (HAZMAT) management, and environmental compliance within industrial and military environments.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Conduct environmental and safety site assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Evaluate current environmental and maintenance practices related to pollution prevention and HAZMAT usage.
  • Develop and recommend strategies for HAZMAT reduction/elimination and promote the use of non-hazardous materials.
  • Assess compliance with environmental regulations and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Research and develop technical reports, white papers, and compliance documentation.
  • Provide guidance on procedures to minimize health, safety, and environmental risks in industrial settings.
  • Review maintenance manuals, technical drawings, and AutoCAD files to support environmental initiatives.
  • Conduct environmental audits, deliver training programs, and enhance safety awareness.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Hygiene, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, a related field or equivalent experience + 8 years related experience.
  • Prior military experience is required.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance required to start.
  • Prior experience supporting the U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command (AMCOM G-4) or similar DoD agencies.
  • Expertise in environmental multi-media compliance and industrial process optimization.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance procedures and technical documentation review.
  • Strong background in project management, process analysis, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, AutoCAD, and related technical tools.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare detailed reports, technical assessments, and regulatory documentation.
  • Experience in training, auditing, and developing compliance strategies.
