Provides subject matter expertise on field observations and provides consultation and guidance on corrective action development. Collaborates with and supports line of businesses (LOB) on safety issues. Communicates safety trends and recommends corrective actions. Serves as a resource for the development, implementation, and sustainability of the various company-wide safety initiatives. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. This is an hourly paid position with a starting hourly rate between $45.67 - $68.75. A reasonable salary range is: Bay Area Minimum: $95,000. Bay Area Maximum: $143,000. &/OR California Minimum: $90,000. California Maximum: $136,000. Job Responsibilities:
May attend Safety Kickoffs or morning meetings with crews to discuss new safety information. Qualifications: Minimum: High School Diploma or GED 5 years of relevant experience Must have, or obtain within 1 year from date of hire, an initial level, or higher, safety professional certification (CUSP, CHST, OHST or equivalent). Desired: BA/ BS or equivalent experience, preferably in environmental health and safety, occupational safety, industrial hygiene, engineering or science
