About the Role:

Responsible for leading the engineering, administration, and optimization of complex IT infrastructure solutions. With a strong emphasis on storage, backup, compute, cloud, and network services, this role requires not only technical expertise but also leadership, innovation, and mentorship. Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain cutting-edge IT systems that align with organizational goals and industry best practices.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):
  • Lead the design and engineering of advanced solutions for storage, backup, compute, cloud, and network services

  • Architect highly scalable and resilient infrastructure to meet current and future business needs

  • Provide technical leadership in administering storage systems, backup procedures, compute resources, and cloud environments

  • Continuously assess and optimize existing IT systems for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness

  • Identify opportunities for innovation and lead initiatives to implement emerging technologies and best practices

  • Drive automation and orchestration efforts to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust cloud network architecture

  • Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures to safeguard against cyber threats and unauthorized access

  • Lead troubleshooting efforts to diagnose and resolve complex network issues, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

  • Mentor junior team members, providing guidance, knowledge sharing, and professional development opportunities

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the IT organization

  • Document system designs, configurations, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance with industry standards

  • Implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain regulatory compliance and data securit

  • Lead audits and assessments of IT systems and infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and remediation

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 4+ years or a combination of equivalent experience, training, or certifications of relevant experience OR

  • Masters degree and 2+ years of related experience as noted above OR

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent and 8+ years of related experience as noted above

  • Understands key business drivers and uses this understanding to accomplish work

  • Has strong understanding of processes, procedures and systems used to accomplish the work and recognizes downstream impact on other functional areas

  • Proficient with tools and processes that support work conducted by functional area

  • Ability to work as part of a team; may train lower levels

  • Excellent computer skills

  • Strong communications, problem-solving, analytical thinking skills

  • Detail oriented yet can see broader picture for department

  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines, with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency

  • Strong project management skill

  • Experience in senior-level IT systems engineering and administration roles, demonstrating leadership and innovation

  • Expertise in storage technologies such as SAN, NAS, and software-defined storage solutions

  • Proficiency in backup and recovery solutions, including hands-on experience with industry-leading
    platforms

  • A strong understanding of infrastructure as code, automation, and scripting to support automated
    provisioning of resources

  • Solid understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS,
    Azure, Google Cloud)

  • Relevant certifications in storage or cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect,
    NetApp, Veeam) are highly desirable

  • Good leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive
    technical initiatives

  • Experience with successfully leading cross-functional teams and delivering high-impact IT
    projects

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset, with a focus on driving innovation and
    continuous improvement

  • Ability to execute

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $101,200.00-$146,550.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
