JOB TITLE: Human Resources Intern Graduate

(Monday - Friday, onsite)

JOB SUMMARY

Under general supervision, provides hands-on experience in various HR functions, including onboarding, associate engagement, and HR operations. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, possess strong communication skills, and is interested in building a career in Human Resources.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES



  • Maintain and update associate records
  • Assist with HR reports and data entry
  • Support compliance efforts by ensuring HR documentation is complete and up to date
  • Assist in planning and executing associate engagement activities and events
  • Create and post backfill roles using HRIS systems
  • Reports on and analyzes various Human Resources trends and statistics.
  • May lead projects, or segments of projects, assuring their integration with Human Resources, the business, and the Corporation as appropriate.
  • Supports and works with HRBP to solve work related issues, addresses problems that impact morale and productivity and Associate Relations situations
  • Assists with the development of Company policies. Ensures compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education

Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Knowledge and understanding of the primary areas of Human Resources such as associate relations, federal and state regulations, training, compensation, and benefits.
  • Requires sound judgment skills and the potential to develop counseling and coaching skills.
  • Requires a basic knowledge and understanding of how to apply and interpret personnel policies and guidelines.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with HR software is a plus.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Typical Office Environment requirements include reading, speaking, hearing, close vision, walking, bending, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.
