Carrier Gas Operations provides on-site air separation units producing nitrogen and oxygen gas production with best-in-class safety, reliability, flexibility and total cost of operation to our semiconductor manufacturing customers. Also supplying cost effective high purity bulk gas.

  • Perform activities to improve the reliability and efficiency of plant operations

  • Lend operational and technical expertise to the plant technicians

  • Provide project management support as needed to any of the ALEUS operations sites (travel required),includingwork on a customersite that is located on a US GovernmentFacility

  • Coordinate and supervise project implementation, control project costs, monitor progress and quality of the projects

  • Maintain positive customer relations to ensure continued satisfaction

  • Work closely with the customer on all gas supply issues, attend meetings and participate in improvement teams

  • Develop and update operational and maintenance standard operating procedures

  • Participate in the use of the computerized maintenance management system

  • Coordinate plant shutdowns, including coordination of plant personnel tasks, hiring contractors, and ensuring all necessary materials and equipment are obtained

  • Perform job functions to always ensure on time, in spec, delivery of gases to the customer

  • Perform job functions in a manner that meets or exceeds the company's HS&E standards

  • Train production technicians and engineers on all aspects of plant operations including plant startups/shutdowns

  • Manage the Gas Production Facility with the Operations lead during any absence of the facility manager

  • Comply with all process safety management and risk management plan practices (EIS, PSM, MOC, etc)

  • Lead efforts in compliance with all applicable regulations and group directives including but not limited to PSM and IMS Audits

  • Trainable on Distributed Process Control (DCS) operation and troubleshooting

  • Ensure GT's are understood and followed by the plant staff

  • Make plant and process decisions to meet plant production needs

  • Support FIT initiatives and compliance

Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering

  • 5+ years of plant operations and/or plant start-up experience

  • Project management experience

  • Familiarity with MS Office or Google Equivalents

  • Strong technical expertise

  • Able to manage multiple concurrent tasks

  • Able to work in a team environment

  • Cooperative and able to obtain the cooperation of others

  • Willing to travel

  • Flexible

  • Good communication skills

  • Strong emphasis on safety and safety leadership

  • Strong oral and written communication and organization skills

  • Must be willing to be on-call rotation schedule

  • Must be willing to support 5S

  • Experience with Management of Change requirements

  • Approximately 25% Travel to other customer sites as required

  • Must be a Naturalized US Citizen

  • Will be required to pass Customer Site Facilities US Government Background Check
