From your PASSION to ours

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a key role on the HR team by managing the full lifecycle recruitment process and ensuring the overall recruitment strategy attracts, recruits, and selects high-performing employees that drive the business forward. You will be responsible for ensuring the overall recruitment strategy attracts, recruits, and selects high-performing employees that drive the business forward. Full-life-cycle recruiting involves partnering with hiring managers; sourcing candidates; delivering creative and proactive solutions, fostering relationships with external agencies, and providing advice and guidance to hiring managers on candidate selection. You will lead and/or support projects that focus on improving the candidate experience and recommend process and tools that drive a successful recruitment model.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Manage full life cycle recruiting process from in-take to offer acceptance including job postings, sourcing, pre-screen, interview scheduling, and preparing and extending offers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and cross-functional partners to create best in-class hiring experiences for internal partners and candidates.
  • Create and manage comprehensive recruiting strategies, selection criteria, recruitment processes and procedures, and leveraging internal and external resources to hire top talent.
  • Prepare job postings and provide interview guidance based on robust intake calls that reflect each position's requirements.
  • Build and maintain an external talent pipeline; and maintain relationships with talent for future opportunities.
  • Providing research and statistical information, collecting, preparing, and analyzing information to use as resources for Talent Acquisition.
  • Make recommendations on an on-going basis for continuous improvement of processes and practices.
  • Participate in the USA Talent Acquisition Workgroup which focuses on system and process improvements that bring efficiency and consistency to TA across the Lactalis USA businesses.
  • Ownership of the annual Internship Program, working in partnership with HR and hiring managers to drive participation and execute events.
  • Assist with Lactalis Heritage Dairy LinkedIn company page, partnering with Communications and Sr. Talent Development Manager on the content calendar and creation and execution of posts.
  • Manage relationships with Universities and Colleges and lead all on-campus initiatives including but not limited to recruitment initiatives, career fairs, marketing events, social events etc.
  • Travel and / or extended or off work hours may be required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years' agency and/or in-house recruiting experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge and experience working within an Applicant Tracking System
  • Experience working with LinkedIn Recruiter, and other recruiting sites (i.e. Indeed)
  • High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point)
  • Proven ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and maintain a structured, organized work environment
  • Team player with a "can do" attitude, also able to work independently with a high sense of urgency and go-getter spirit
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish close working relationships and interact positively with multiple departments and locations - both in person and remote
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects from initiation to completion, including planning, executing, monitoring, and closing, while ensuring alignment with company goals and timely delivery
  • Strong problem solving, attention to detail and verbal/written communications skills
  • Ability to adapt in a changing work environment
