If so, this is a truly exciting opportunity to be an integral leader with the Global Supply Chain Strategy (GSC) team and influence an entire portfolio of GSK products. The role of this GSC Strategy Lead is to develop and maintain a comprehensive product lifecycle strategy for the end-to-end supply chain that aligns both short- & long-term strategic goals (commercial sourcing, growth, risk mitigation, cost) across the Global Supply Chain. Reporting into the GSC Strategy (Oncology) Senior Director, the GSC Strategy Lead independently develops the strategy for a portfolio of brands, effectively managing risk, cost and other challenges. The GSC Strategy Lead makes evidence-based recommendations up to the GSC Leadership Team (LT), provides technical expertise and utilizes comprehensive brand strategy to influence and guide key stakeholders across the business. The GSC Strategy Lead successfully works within matrix teams (including CMC/R&D, Manufacturing/Supply Planning, Quality, Regulatory, MSAT, Commercial, Marketing and Sales) to ensure that GSK products deliver the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficacy, while also maximizing customer satisfaction and profitability. The GSC Strategy Lead should demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, inclusive of strengths in technical understanding (small molecules, biologics, sterile manufacture, devices and external manufacturing), strategic decision making, scenario planning, financial analysis, Cost of Goods analysis, business case development (make vs. buy) and risk assessment / mitigation planning.
