POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for account management and logistical sales support for all sales divisions with a focus on the Home and Accessories. Responsible for assigned account management including Amazon Marketplace, supports trade shows & sales meetings, new account approvals, sample account reconciliation, order management, seasonal estimates and special projects as requested by Sales Management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

  • Manage select key national accounts and distributors for Home and Accessory divisions: develop and execute sales and marketing plans to exceed sales and margin requirements, develop and implement business strategies, secure and place orders with consideration to delivery dates and inventory fulfillment. Apparel sales as appropriate. Current active accounts include Amazon, Dillard's, Hudson Group.
  • Administer the Amazon 3P account. Work with agency resources to complete item set ups. Work with management to align sales budget and assortment selection. Cooperate with order services team to ship product.
  • Provide logistical support to Sales Manager: orders, BC sales reports, estimating, order date shifts and deletions, and Account Manager support as needed.
  • Provide sales support for trade shows: logistics and account interface. Logistics to include sample and marketing material coordination, packing and unpacking, shipping and receiving. Manage contracts and fixture selection for all shows to include payment and appointment schedules. Also to include creating an account contact list at attended shows and to disseminate information to management and Account Managers for follow up.
  • Provide logistic support for national sales meetings. Work with Sales Management and Merchandising and Marketing teams on scheduling, staging and sales presentations.
  • Provide input to Merchandising and Marketing teams on style and marketing opportunities with a focus on the Accessory Division and the addition of male oriented products.
  • Manage special Sales Division projects as assigned.
  • Sample coordination for the Home and Accessory showrooms as well as Account Manager/Distributor and internal channel sample orders. To include allocating samples across all channels as needed including DC inventory, merchandising samples, swatches and break-pack samples to be sent from the corporate office.
  • Manage Portland and Las Vegas showrooms to include receiving, prepping, organizing and managing all samples for Home and Accessories. Ensure that discontinued samples are returned and new samples are incorporated into displays. Ensure neatness and compelling displays. Ensure that all catalogs and marketing materials are on hand and available each season.
  • Annual/seasonal Home and accessory inventory and sample account reconciliation for Home/Accessory showrooms, Las Vegas Showroom, and trade sample orders billed to corporate accounts. Coordinate sample returns by location on a seasonal/on-going basis.
  • New account inquiry and account set up coordination and tracking. Create and communicate tradeshow NAI's as appropriate. Work with Order Services/Catalog Call Center/Credit Department//Direct channel web leads and Account Managers to ensure follow up and approval as appropriate. Create a methodology to track web lead to account set up ratios by Account Manager.
  • NuOrder account support as needed.
  • Sales division administrative support as needed.
  • Work with National Sales Manager & Merchandising to manage and track custom blanket sales.
  • Work with EVP of sales to help manage and support Pendleton's involvement with the Pendleton Round-Up.

BEHAVIORAL (The method in which the incumbent delivers results)

  • Candidate is expected to be in the office regularly and at least three days a week.

QUALIFICATIONS (The training, education and/or experience necessary to fulfill the job)

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • 3 - 5 years of wholesale sales experience; Home and Apparel products preferred
  • Industry specific merchandising or planning experience a plus
  • Travel Required to tradeshows and accounts as needed
  • Experience working with web sales platforms

SYSTEM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Computer proficiency; Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, NuOrder

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs. during trade show set up
