Job Description General Responsibilities: Terracon is currently seeking a Natural Resources / Environmental Planning Staff Scientist to join our growing Chattanooga office. You will be working with the Environmental Planning staff throughout the Southeast to assist with Waters of the United States Delineations, Permitting, and Mitigation; National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Assessments (Categorical Exclusions, EAs, EIS documents), and threatened and endangered species (T&E) related services; and may assist with environmental site investigations, assessments and surveys to sample, measure and analyze air, water, material, and soil. Responsibilities will include proposal preparation, project management, and report preparation.
