Role: Senior Software Developer Location: Columbus, OH (Onsite) Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for "Senior Software Engineer" to join in our team of IT professionals in a permanent role. Responsibilities: We are seeking an experienced Application Lead with 9 to 17 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Java 17, Angular (2-16) , AWS, Kubernetes, Splunk, Service Now, Java Persistence API, Oracle, Node js, Linux, Spring Boot, Microservices, Spring Core, REST Web Services, and Oracle or PL/SQL. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who is flexible to support the production application 245 and ready for On-call production support over the weekend. Also, willing to extend additional time to provide handshake to offshore and guide them for technical difficulties. -Lead the management and optimization of services to ensure high performance and availability. - Oversee the development and implementation of software solutions using Angular (2-16), Java 17, Spring Boot, and Microservices. - Provide expertise in Kubernetes for container orchestration and management. - Utilize GitHub Copilot to enhance development productivity and code quality. - Monitor and analyze system performance using Splunk to ensure optimal operation. - Manage incidents and service requests through Service Now. - Implement and maintain data persistence using Java Persistence API and Oracle databases. - Ensure the reliability and security of applications running on Linux environments. - Develop and maintain microservices architecture using Spring Boot and Spring Core. - Design and implement RESTful web services to support various business functions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to maintain service continuity. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction - Knowledge in resolving Security Vulnerabilities for OnPrem and Containerized applications. Salary and Other Compensation: This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
