At Broadwind Heavy Fabrications we THINK BIG! We work onlarge scale, heavy weldments for several industries including cranes, mining equipment, and wind towers. We are adding a Master Scheduler to join our team in Manitowoc, WI. The Master Scheduler will develop, update, and maintain the Master Production Schedule to align with organizational objectives and production capacity. This position will also oversee scheduling and production control to ensure seamless manufacturing operations and optimal resource utilization. Provide comprehensive daily reports on manufacturing progress, including status updates, due dates for work-in-process, and incoming order forecasts. Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
- Ensure plant work order schedules align with the Master Production Schedule to optimize operational efficiency.
- Maximize corporate production capacity to meet customer delivery commitments while maintaining cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
- Develop and implement accurate scheduling models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee scheduling activities to facilitate the seamless execution of the Master Production Schedule.
- Identify and resolve scheduling challenges, ensuring adherence to production timelines and addressing work order discrepancies.
- Provide leadership and guidance to Plant Managers, as well as Project Managers, fostering consistency and operational excellence.
- Develop and refine scheduling procedures, training programs, and work instructions to enhance process efficiency and compliance.
- Collaborate with Sales teams to develop accurate and feasible delivery schedules for customer proposals.
- Maintain and oversee scheduling and MRP software, including manual and computerized records related to production and in-process materials.
- Prepare routine reports and schedules to ensure the availability of required manufacturing resources.
- Continuously evaluate and monitor scheduling performance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Create and Track KPI's related to accurate start time for projects.

QUALIFICATIONS Academic/Experience/Credentials/Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or a related discipline.
- Has knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
- APICS certification and continuing education in Supply Chain Management is desired.

- Evaluate and develop improved techniques for scheduling.
- Directly responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the Corporate Master Schedule and reporting on fulfillment of Customer delivery requirements throughout the enterprise.
