The Opportunity

The Sales Compensation resource will play a pivotal role in the success of Adobe's ARR Avg project which is a transformational change in the way the Digital Experience (DX) business unit quantifies Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and derivative metrics such as growth, attrition and Net Dollar Retention (N$R), Net Expansion and Net New ARR.

What You'll Do
  • Global Compensation Team is responsible for reporting accurate quota attainment for all Adobe employees on a Commission Plan
  • We need complete and accurate data to pay our sales army.
  • We need a Team Lead who understands in depth challenges with Adobe Systems as they relate to Sales Comp.
  • Create operational processes to ensure end-to-end reporting is identical across various reporting systems, including CRM (multiple Salesforce instances, Dynamics), ERP (SAP, NetSuite, Intacct) and custom SQL tables
  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis using various tools such as SQL queries, Valorx apps to data mine problem scenarios, corner cases and evaluate overall project effectiveness.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across multiple organization including Sales Finance, Corporate Finance, Sales Operations, Sales Strategy and Enablement
  • Serve as project SME and offer training/support to overall Sales organization as needed.
What You Need to Succeed
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; MBA preferred
  • Familiarity with fiscal planning cycles and ad hoc financial analysis.
  • Preference: 6-10 years' experience in Global Compensation, data analysis, product delivery management.
  • Sound understanding of sales compensation practices and techniques.
  • Aware of personal strengths and weaknesses; receives, applies, and gives useful feedback.
  • Familiarity with CRMs, ERPs and SQL.
  • High attention to detail and the exercise of sound judgment and decision-making.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications, time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent presenter of complex concepts and dense data (an Excel and PowerPoint wiz).
  • Inclination to train and educate users in new processes, policies, and procedures or technologies.
  • Self-motivated to achieve results without requiring constant follow-up.
  • Ability to reorder priorities on short-notice and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Effective management of workload and priorities. Flexible working schedule based on company requirements at various times through the business year and quarter.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $131,700 -- $242,300 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
