As this is a fully remote position within the United States, preferred candidates will live within the Mountain and Pacific time zones to accommodate collaboration with fellow team members and the customer.
The Clinical Business Analyst will work at the intersection of clinical operations, IT teams and business leaders to optimize Care Management systems, workflows and increase automation.
This position provides the experience, expertise, and knowledge to support the enhancement, implementation and maintenance of Care Management systems and ensure systems support the operational needs of Care Management clients. They work closely with project managers, business systems analysts, trainers, and operational stakeholders to document operational processes, identify opportunities for improving processes and technical application workflows to increasing efficiencies and further automation.
They play a key role between clinical stakeholders and IT teams to help identify and translate business needs, opportunities and objectives into technology solutions.

Clinical/Business Analysis and User Support - 60%
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Comagine Health's Care Management lines of business, processes, and workflows and their application in the Care Management system
Work with clinical operations teams to understand their needs and translate these into system requirements and business solutions
Working with clinical operations and business systems analysts, analyze current clinical workflows and business processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, accuracy, and overall performance
Identify opportunities for automation, process redesign, standardization and other improvements that align with best practices in clinical operations
Interact with clinical operations teams and clients to understand new or changing program and/or product requirements, working with appropriate teams to establish new workflow
Elicit and document business and technical requirements for systems and reporting
Prepare documentation and analysis
Prepare documentation for client, vendor and internal response and analysis
Provide testing support and coordination
Modify system configuration/tables under the direction of IT team
Project Support including Management, Planning and Status Reporting - 40%
Lead small to medium complexity software upgrade initiatives or enhancements to workflows including the design, build, and test phases
Manage and contribute to the planning, development, and deployment of Care Management systems projects
Requirements:
BA/BS in Nursing or other clinical field; or Information Systems.
Current, active, unrestricted RN Licensure or other relevant clinical licensure preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certified Practitioner certification a plus
Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA) a plus
Clinician Candidates
At least 3 years of experience in a care management or other clinical setting; and
At least 3 years of experience supporting a clinical information system as an analyst of super user
Non-clinician Candidates
At least 5 years of experience supporting a clinical information system as an analyst, developer or customer service representative
At least 2 years of experience supporting a care management system in a utilization management service area
Experience with Jiva Care Management system, utilization and case management functionality, preferred

The compensation range reflects geographical locations:
$110,000 -133,000.
