Summary
Spire is seeking an Engineering intern to work in our Midstream department out of our Houston facility. Spire is seeking an enthusiastic, career-minded student or recent graduate to join our Midstream operations focusing on our underground natural gas storage facilities in Wyoming and Oklahoma. Our paid internship position affords students the opportunity to gain real-world experience to help put what they have learned in class into action. This position will assist the Director, Midstream Engineering, with various projects benefitting Spire's underground natural gas storage assets.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Using the extracted information to run engineering analyses
- Recommending standalone improvement projects
- Preventative maintenance/treatment to keep wells/equipment performing well

Required knowledge, skill and abilities
- Rising Junior, Senior, or Graduate level student in Fall 2025
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Majoring in any engineering discipline
- Experience in collecting and analyzing data, process improvement, and relationship building is preferred
- Aptitude to identify, learn and apply new business/engineering processes
- Ability to analyze complex data sets from multiple systems to aid decision making
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint preferred
