Role Description

Hunter Roberts is currently on the lookout for a dynamic and driven Marketing Intern to be part of our New York business marketing group. The ideal candidate will have an interest in pursuing a career in marketing, graphic design, journalism, public relations, business development, corporate communications, or other related fields. Our marketing department is comprised of experts across these disciplines, offering a rich learning environment for the intern. We are seeking an individual with a solid work ethic, a keen desire to learn, and relevant experience, which could be from previous internships, freelance assignments, or participation in related university clubs. The candidate must also be an exceptional listener and articulate communicator.

The internship will begin on June 2, 2025 and last through August 15, 2025. The hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am until 5 pm.

Summary of essential job functions

• Support the production of proposals, presentations, and marketing materials in a time-sensitive, deadline driven manner
• Craft marketing content, including project summaries, staff resumes, and comprehensive industry research on organizations, companies, design firms, and government institutions.
• Maintain and support the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• Engage in broad marketing efforts, such as public relations, networking events, website content, client testimonials, project updates, and award announcements.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by the Marketing Director.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as an undergraduate in an accredited College or University pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent project management skills and sound judgment
• Proactive self-starter with excellent organizational, communication (verbal and written), listening skills
• Able to effectively manage time and efficiency
• Must be a team player, adaptable to change and able to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
• Personal interest in Architecture/Engineering/Construction is a plus
