Position Summary
TEKsystems is looking for an Email Security Engineer to join a large client's Cloud and Email Security team. The candidate must be a self-motivated individual with experience in designing, engineering, testing, and implementing Email Security platform solutions. You will serve as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource; providing technical knowledge and capabilities as a team member and individual contributor. Job Responsibilities: Executing processes in support of the IT infrastructure and resources required to plan for, develop, deliver, and support IT services and products to meet the needs of a business within required SLAs. Design, install, manage, and troubleshoot platforms within the email infrastructure Assists engineering team members with tasks as directed Focus on process improvements contributing towards increasing operational excellence Facilitates the resolution (both reactive and proactive) of problems throughout the information system lifecycle, including classification, prioritization, and initiation of action Generation of project artifacts Collaborates effectively with their Architecture/Engineering peers and management for new initiative solution planning, testing/validation, complex troubleshooting, and problem resolution Ability to learn new technology as required Required Skills: 5+ years' email security experience 5+ years OS (Linux and Windows systems) Experience with email security vendors such as FireEye and Proofpoint Experience with SMTP email relays and routing Experience with Email Hygiene systems, including Anti-spam, Antivirus, Malware Prevention, and Data Loss Prevention *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
