Job Description
Under limited supervision, the individual in this position provides a professional level of technical expertise to managenetwork devices, services, protocols, computer hardware and software that make up the Bank's infrastructure. This includes installing, configuring, patching, upgrading, troubleshooting, and monitoring to ensure optimal performance and stable, secure systems.
Qualifications
Equivalent to a college degree. Cisco certifications and experience with Cisco ACI highly regarded. Five or more years of similar or related professional experience. Working knowledge of servers and storage, particularly hyper-converged platforms, virtualization (VMware preferred), and server operating systems (Windows, Linux). Experience with all aspects of networking including switching, routing, BGP. Experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies and methodologies highly regarded. Experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and AWS highly regarded. Ability to plan and implement all aspects of a significant hardware and/or software rollout, and document issues, architecture, and decisions made. Ability to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences, including technical and non-technical. Accessible via cell phone during core bank hours, as well as after-hours, as needed, to provide support for normal business operations. Able to work and travel independently and use general office equipment.
