The Senior Healthcare Consultantis responsible for driving consulting services revenue growth by developing strategies, analyzing intricate business challenges, managing complex projects, and providing effective strategies and solutions. The Senior Healthcare Consultant will oversee project deliverables, maintain quality standards, and lead cross-functional teams while ensuring client satisfaction and serving as the primary client liaison. The role will lead business development by identifying new opportunities for growth, expanding client relationships, and promoting MCG Consulting through thought leadership and strategic partnerships. Additionally, the Senior Healthcare Consultant continuously optimizes internal processes to enhance service delivery and efficiency.

You Will:



  • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth for consulting services.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of consulting services and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities through client relationships and market insights.
  • Provide insights and guidance to clients on emerging challenges and opportunities in the healthcare landscape.
  • Lead the development of proposals, contracts, and project scopes that align with client needs and organizational goals.
  • Partner with other MCG Health divisions to align services and solutions, offering integrated approaches to client challenges.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data to generate actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making and client solutions.
  • Translate client needs into tailored solutions that align with organizational goals and industry standards.
  • Build andmaintain trusted relationships with client stakeholders at the director and executive levels.
  • Provide actionable, data-driven insights to guide strategic decision-making and transformation initiatives.
  • Deliver high-quality reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate results and recommendations effectively.
  • Analyzing complex business problems and developing effectiveand practical solutions.
  • Drive revenue by promoting MCG Consulting services and increasing market penetration.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to target untapped markets or underserved regions.
  • Build strategic alliances and partnerships with healthcare organizations, associations, and stakeholders.
  • Assist in business development efforts and identifying opportunities for client growth.
  • Translate client requirements into actionable insights for product development, address technical challenges, and ensuretimely delivery of solutions that meet client expectations.
  • Facilitate cross-functional projects thatleverage the expertise and resources of multiple teams within the organization.
  • Design and deliver customized consulting solutions that address specific client needs and challenges.
  • Manage and track results against KPI and ROI standards, ensuring performance meets both internal and external expectations.
  • Leverage market research toidentify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
  • Foster relationships with existing clients to expand service offerings and deepen engagements.
  • Ensure projects are executed on time, within scope, and deliver measurable results.
  • Represent MCG Consulting as a trusted advisor and advocate for patient-focused care.
  • Promote the MCG Consulting brand through speaking engagements, conferences, and industry events.
  • Create and share thought leadership content, including white papers, blogs, and webinars, to establish industry credibility.
  • Develop tools, templates, and methodologies to enhance service delivery and consistency.
  • Continuously improve internal processes to optimize efficiency and client satisfaction.


What We're Looking For:



  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, public health, or a related field.
  • At least 8years of progressive experience in healthcare consulting or a strategic role within the healthcare industry.
  • Experience working in or collaborating with a leading consulting firm, healthcare provider, payer, or technology organization.
  • Demonstrated success in driving business growth,acquiring new clients, and generating revenue.
  • Understanding of healthcare systems, policies, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint and Excel), CRM software, and data visualization platforms.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations.
  • Expertise in strategy development, operations, organizational change, and process improvement.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Master's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field.
  • Ability to assess complex data and situations,identify key issues, and provide clear solutions that are easily understood, aligning with MCG's "backed by data" approach.
  • Strong ability to communicate ideas effectively and persuasively to both clients and team members, ensuring alignment and understanding.
  • Provencapacity for creative thinking, developing innovative strategies tailored to meet the specific needs of clients and drive successful outcomes.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional projects and managing high-impact client engagements.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.


Travel to our Seattle office or other location is required 3-4 times per year.

Pay Range: $132,800 - $185,900
