Mechanical Piping Designer I

Merrick & Company is seeking a Mechanical Piping Designer with zero (0) to four (4) years of experience at our Greenwood Village, CO office.

Typical pay hourly range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

• Generate drawings for 3D equipment modeling and piping systems, development of detailed isometric drawings from the 3D model, and equipment location drawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
• Utilize AutoCAD/Plant3D to design engineering drawings.
• Generate process, mechanical, piping deliverables, E&IC and taking direction from all these disciplines. Working in a multi-disciplinary team, the designer will be responsible for generating designs to meet exacting technical standards.
• Some travel to client project sites to support drawing as built and design efforts is expected.

• Zero (0) to Four (4) to years of experience is required.
• Proficiency using Autocad/Plant 3D.
• Knowledge or experience in the use of national standards including ASME B31.
• Candidates for this position must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
