Genesis10 is currently seeking a Network/System Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Responsible for Deployment, Middleware and Environment Management for Lower-Level test Environment Keep the environment pristine and as production like as possible Build out the environment, deploy business and infrastructure software, implement configurations and manual software changes, maintain the software levels as per security standards Work closely with Technology Infrastructure Teams, Development and Testing Teams in supporting Integrated/Independent releases, software/hardware upgrades, server upgrades, etc. Perform troubleshooting, analysis, research and resolution using advanced query and programming skills Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and problems including single user and branch issues escalated by Advisory users Partner and build subject matter expert teams to identify cause and resolution to escalations where root cause/issue is caused by technology supported by partner teams Provide monitoring of the environment during release or independent change and track changes to the production environment Look for areas of improvement in monitoring, application stability, and speed of determining root cause Debug and troubleshoot performance and software issues Manage changes, defects, and projects across various testing and PROD environments Handle multiple tasks/projects and adapt to a constantly changing environment Defect triage of issues in the application testing environments Deployment of code and/or retrofit of production code Communicate to our clients and/or consult on design of infrastructure Rebuild Servers Work side by side with testers and developers to ensure all are working cohesively System patching Technical documentation Partner and communicate with internal customers and partner teams Application support, ensure stability for high-volume, multi-tiered, distributed transactional applications in a production environment Requirements: Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Communication, Information Technology 5+ years experience with Windows 2012/2016, IIS, .Net application integration in large complex environments Windows Administration Hands on experience with DEVOPS on Windows Operating Systems, System Administration and Automation Hands on experience with Application Middleware (.Net, IIS, JRE, etc.) Ability to plan, design, create programs, and document through AGILE framework and DEVOPS using XLR/Ansible Hands on experience with PowerShell scripting Environment Management skills on WINDOWS Servers Ability to troubleshoot application integration issues in Windows environment Basic understanding and troubleshoot experience of multi-tier applications, Networking, SQL Good working knowledge of CI CD Process like Ansible, Jira, XLR, etc. Ability to work independently and within a team Desired skills: Knowledge of Windows PowerShell scripting Prior Bank/Finance work experience Pay Range: $63.68-$71.68 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
