Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Analyst with our corporate investment banking company client in their New York, NY location. This is a 6 month + contract and hybrid remote position.

Summary:

The Business Analyst - Regulatory Change Management role is responsible to work within the Change Management team supporting the development of new Regulatory reporting processes and changes required or improvements to existing Regulatory reporting processes. S/he works closely with Regulatory reporting process owners in understanding the tools utilized, business and rule requirements published by the Regulators. S/he works with the Lines of Business and Data owners in eliciting requirements and prepares the Business Requirement Documents. S/he develops Functional specifications to define the data requirements and Business Rules to assist the IT department in building IT systems/solutions that meet Regulatory Reporting needs. S/he devises the Testing Strategy, defines the Test Plan and reviews Testing artifacts with all stakeholders. S/he works with the internal business partners to properly test, train and implement new or improved processes, often leading these efforts. S/he will be responsible for performing financial data analysis for different regulatory reporting requirements.

Responsibilities:


  • Will assist with regulatory reports.
  • 3 to 4 team members.
  • Must be comfortable interacting with international teams.
  • First rounds of video interviews will be with leads - onsite interviews are possible.
  • Must be able to go into detail about their previous project history, discuss previous reports they have worked on in previous roles.
  • Standard 8 to 5 work schedule overtime is not anticipated.
  • Local candidates to PGH or NYC - hybrid schedule.
  • The perfect candidate would have experience with configuring, implementing, and leading regulatory reporting.




Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required.
  • 8-12 years of total work experience in Business analysis, Data analysis preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Regulatory reporting experience is required.
  • Must have recent experience with web version of Axiom.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Business/Functional Analyst with Financial Services background.
  • Financial Product and data analysis experience, having worked with large datasets including Transactional and Reference data.
  • Nasdaq Axiom Configuration experience 3-5 years in Web version.
  • Axiom knowledge or implementation experience would preferred in US Reporting packages like CCAR (14M,Q), Y9C, 101 etc.
  • Experience in eliciting Requirements from User groups and preparing Business and Functional Requirements artifacts.
  • Experience in North America Regulatory Reports and processes like CCAR(14Q,M), Call Reports, Y9C,Basel etc.
  • SQL understanding or knowledge to facilitate data analysis.
  • Understanding of User Acceptance testing and building of testing strategy/test plans.
  • Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.




Preferred Experience:


  • Supported multiple enterprise systems implementations in a Business Analyst role.
  • Having SQL knowledge for data analysis will be preferred.
  • Having Financial Regulatory Reporting experience will be added advantage.




Pay rate range: $82.00 - $86.00 hourly
