Central Materials Associate

Job Description:

Baptist Health is looking for a Central Materials Associate to join our team in Paducah, KY

As part of the Supply Chain Services of Baptist Healthcare System in Louisville, Ky., this position is responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Principal Duties:

• Performs the primarily manual tasks necessary for the delivery and storage of product, utilizing proper rotation, organization, identification, documentation and proper location of stock items.

• Where appropriate, collects all out of service patient portable equipment and delivers to Biomed department for repair.

• Cleans and distributes all patient portable equipment to the necessary patient areas.

Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required:

• High School diploma or GED required

• 1-2 years related experience required if appropriate

Hours: 06:30am to 3:00pm
Special Working Needs (Holidays, Weekends, On-Call, etc.)
