Position Location(s): Remote position. May be based near any of Astound's main west coast markets including: Bay Area and Sacramento, CA; Portland and Woodburn, OR; Greater Seattle and Bothell, WA.

A Day in the Life of the Business Operations Coordinator:



  • Collecting, and analyzing operational data to identify trends, generate reports, and inform decision-making.
  • Analyzing and optimizing existing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing new procedures to enhance efficiency.
  • Facilitating communication between different departments, resolving operational issues, and coordinating with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Coordinate with outside sources to ensure submitted data reflects an accurate depiction of performance while making recommendations for process improvement for current and future metrics collection systems.
  • Provide business analysis support and assist with business requirements documentation to ensure effective delivery of system and operational changes.
  • Educates and promotes a culture of continuous improvement by partnering with process owners / champions to drive improved results.


    What You Bring to the Table:



    • Ability to learn and retain new information and concepts quickly, including the operational understanding of telecommunications ordering/provisioning, billing/accounting processes, and general project management principles.
    • Must have strong organizational skills and be excellent with details and follow-up.
    • High competency in both verbal and written communications, interpersonal skills to interact effectively with different types of people and approaches, outgoing and proactive in order to accomplish tasks.
    • Flexibility, ability to multitask and prioritize requests from several different sources without sacrificing quality of work, and ability to handle a fast-paced work environment.
    • Strong computer literacy, with the ability to leverage technology associated with the job (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheets, Tableau).
    • Strong data analytics experience on large-scale complicated datasets, including expertise in handling sales data such as pipeline, revenue, and churn.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business analysis, process mapping, and business operation design (preferred)


    Education and Certifications:



    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (preferred)

    Base Compensation: The base hourly range for this position is $24/hour, plus opportunities for bonus, benefits and commission, if applicable.
