ABOUT THE JOB:

As a VP, Enterprise Sales, you will play a pivotal leadership role in defining and executing our growth strategy within your designated vertical market-whether it's Construction, Energy & Industrial, Retail Value Chain, or Professional Services & Events. You will be the driving force behind customer acquisition, revenue expansion, and retention initiatives, working to not only enhance our service offerings but also to forge and nurture long-term, strategic partnerships.

In this dynamic position, you will lead and build a high-performing team of account management and business development professionals, inspiring them to deliver on targets while ensuring a deep market penetration. Your responsibilities will include crafting tailored sales strategies that resonate with the specific needs and trends of your vertical, overseeing the full sales cycle, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that differentiate and deliver the value of WillScot in the marketplace.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Sales Strategy & Planning:




  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and tactics for assigned vertical market at the national, regional, and market level.



  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and refine sales strategy as needed.



  • Develop and forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales revenue and adjust strategies to achieve forecasted targets.



  • Oversee the largest and most strategic account in the vertical market while developing strategies for account growth, upselling, and cross-selling.



  • Go to Market Strategy to leverage capabilities across assigned vertical.




Account Management:




  • Develop, and lead the strategic assigned vertical account strategy, including necessary actions service level attributes and product offerings needed to achieve annual business objectives.



  • Drive top line growth of the assigned vertical accounts team through all aspects of Commercial Excellence to establish strong customer relationships at the appropriate level and improve customer satisfaction.



  • Supports the Company's achievement of its customer acquisition, vertical account penetration, and revenue goals.




Business Development:




  • Drive initiatives to expand market presence and capture NET new business opportunities.



  • Develop, build, and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.



  • Work directly with cross-functional departments to identify and develop new product opportunities to meet assigned vertical market industry.



  • Lead the negotiation of major contracts and partnerships to maximize revenue generation and capture market share.




Team Leadership & Management:




  • Build, lead, and develop a high performing team within the assigned vertical market to meet or exceed annual revenue targets.



  • Set clear individual and team performance expectations and provide regular feedback to align with corporate targets.



  • Foster a collaborative and motivated sales culture that encourages teamwork, innovation, and continue improvement.



  • Develop, implement, and assign training programs to ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.




Financial and Operational Accountability:




  • Drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives, cross-selling, upselling value-added products, and leveraging the full product portfolio.



  • Monitor industry trends and competitive dynamics to seize opportunities and mitigate challenges.



  • Identify, create and optimize processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and client outcomes.




Sales Reporting and Analysis:




  • Generate regular reports on sales performance, pipeline, and forecast for presentation to senior and executive management.



  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive informed decision-making.



SKILLS + EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years of progressive sales, business development, and account management within assigned vertical market.
  • 5+ years of managing a high-performance sales team.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • A proven track record of success in consultative sales and solutions-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams while managing portfolios of senior-level clients.
  • Strong financial acumen, with a solid understanding of KPIs financial analysis and contract negotiation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment and collaborate across multiple cross-functional departments.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and comfortable with evolving technologies.
  • Exceptional organization, decision-making, and strategic planning skills.
