The OSRAM SYLVANIA team is looking for a Product Manager who has a passion for the Automotive industry, a great analytical mind, excellent communication skills, and the ability to transform customer needs into product specifications. You will work in a cross-functional environment between R&D, Manufacturing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing. As a Product Manager, you will lead without authority, aligning your team to a common objective.

Our team is looking for a contributor who will manage the product lifecycle activities for an Automotive Lighting portfolio within OSRAM SYLVANIA that supports its strategic initiatives:

  • Performs strategic segmentation analysis to identify market size, competitive landscape and fit within OSI strengths.
  • Understand market needs, client requirements and competitive analysis through research.
  • Daily interaction and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop product roadmaps and regular status updates with peers, Sales, and Senior Management.
  • Drive high-quality deliverables including business cases, marketing requirements, compliance documents, pricing, Sales tools, etc.
  • Provide clear direction on requirements for products and go-to-market activity within the managed product portfolio.
  • Engagement of Voice of the Customer throughout the product lifecycle, translating market needs into technical product specifications.
  • Provide Sales support on Product presentations, and collateral.
Who we are looking for

Requirements:

  • Bachelors and 7+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the Automotive industry
    • MS plus a minimum 3 years
  • Ability to analyze market trends and consumer behavior
  • Ability to conduct competitive analysis
  • Proficiency in using data analysis (Excel, PowerBI)
  • Ability to interpret sales data and identify patterns
  • Availability to travel 20%
  • Experience in the APQP process would be a plus.
