CLA is growing and seeking to hire an experienced User Experience Manager to join our talented Information Technology team. The position offers growth, flexibility and a collaborative work environment. The User Experience Manager is responsible for leading and mentoring a team of user experience designers, and researchers. This role involves developing and executing a comprehensive UX strategy aligned with the company's vision and product roadmap. The User Experience Manager oversees the design process from ideation to implementation, ensuring high-quality and timely project delivery. Additionally, they work closely with product owners, business and technical stakeholders to align design goals with business objectives. The User Experience Manager stays current with industry trends, tools, and best practices. They integrate new methodologies and technologies into the design process to improve efficiency and creativity. How you'll create opportunities in this User Experience Manager role: * Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of UX designers and researchers. Provide UX direction, coaching, guidance, foster professional development, and encourage a collaborative work environment. * Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive UX strategy aligned with the CLA's vision and product roadmap. Advocate for customer-centric/user-centered design practices at all organizational levels. * Design Oversight: Oversee the design process from ideation to implementation, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and with high quality. Review and provide feedback on wireframes, prototypes, and final designs. * Behavioral Economics: Apply principles of behavioral economics to design user experiences that influence user behavior and decision-making. * User Research: Partner with the User Experience Researcher to on the research process that includes surveys, interviews, usability tests, ethnographic studies, and heuristic evaluations to gather insights and inform design decisions. * Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, business and technical stakeholders to align design goals with business objectives. Facilitate workshops and design sprints to drive innovation and problem-solving. * Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors and consultants to supplement internal capabilities. * Innovation: Stay current with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices. Integrate new methodologies and technologies into the design process to improve efficiency and creativity. * Accessibility and Inclusivity: Ensure that all designs and user experiences are accessible to users with disabilities and inclusive of diverse user groups. * Continuous Improvement: Implement processes for continuous feedback and improvement of the user experience, leveraging user feedback and analytics. * Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the user experience and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
